"Walkthrough"

submission: Gateway II

1. Enter the gateway on the left. Walk to the end of the hall and press the button to open the door. Enter the door.

2. Pick up the handheld mirror. Click on the big mirror on the wall to look at it. Click the faucet knob on the right to turn on the hot water. Steam will rise up and fog the mirror, displaying a number. (7997) Click on the wall to go back to the bathroom view.

3. Click on the keypad on the cabinet below the sink. Enter the number into the panel to open it. Pick up the video tape and leave the bathroom.

4. The door will close and an eye will appear above the door. Stand under the light and use the mirror on the eye. Continue back into the main room.

5. Click on the television. Drag the first video tape into the slot and press the transfer button. Press the eject button to remove the tape. Watch the two videos for story, and turn off the TV by clicking next to it. You don't have to watch the videos to continue.

6. Enter the doorway on the right. Walk to the second red square, then back to the first. Then walk ahead to the 4th and back to the third. Finally, walk ahead to the sixth, and back to the fifth. Then walk to the door on the right and it will open. Go through it.

7. Pick up the lighter and newspaper on the table. Open the drawer in the top left corner and take the screwdriver. Look at the painting on the wall and there is a sequence of numbers. (786)

8. Use the newspaper on the door, then use the key on the lock. Step out of the way and pick up the newspaper to get the key. Then use the key on the lock and go through the door.

9. There is an invisible path on the ground heading straight out from the door. You can see the footprints under your mouse when you move it over the path. When you walk on the path, it shows up for a brief time, and you have to make it entirely visible. Standing on the standing location just inside the door, click on the farthest point along the path where the mouse still shows footprints. You will walk straight there and display the whole path. Take the second videotape and head back through the living room.

10. When you get to the red light path again, walk out to the other door using the same pattern as you did walking in, but in reverse. Walk out two squares from the right, then back to the first square, then out to the fourth square and back to the third, then out to the sixth square and back to the fifth, then to the other door and it will open.

11. Watch the TV. Put the second videotape in the slot and press the transfer button. When it's done transferring both clips, eject the tape. Watch the video clips for story and turn off the TV.

12. Enter the second door on the right. Flip the light on and off three times until you see the light in the distance blink three times. Examine the table. Pick up the pen and draw all over the ripped off part of the paper at the bottom. A number will be revealed. (86763454) Pick up the phone and call this number. Proceed to the next room.

13. Use the lighter on the sprinkler, and head to the next room.

14. Get the videotape. When the eyes appear, open the refrigerator and hide in the shadow behind it. Your avatar should get very dark gray. The blinking will speed up, and then stop and the door will open. Leave the room.

15. Stand under the light and use the mirror on the water. This will create a spectrum. (Blue, Purple, Yellow, Green, Red, Orange) Click on the alarm override near the left door and enter in the same color sequence. Leave the room to the left and head through through that room back to the main room.

16. Watch the TV. Put the third videotape in the slot and press the transfer button. When it's done transferring both clips, eject the tape. Watch the video clips for story and turn off the TV.

17. Enter the second door on the left. Note the code above the opposite door. (24 79 163) Look through the window. Enter 12, 12 into the keypad so that the subject responds 24. If he is wrong, hit the punish button. Reset and enter 35, 44 into the keypad so that the

"WALKTHREW"

1)Grab the hammer on the floor in the first room, click on the plank, and read the inscription on the skull. Then head upstairs and go right.

2)Open the drawer in the bedroom and grab the weed. Head right into the bathroom.

3)Click on the glass, then click on the hammer to break it open. The lock combination is 12,15,12. Grab the basement key.

4) Head back downstairs and take a left into the kitchen. Open the cabinents until you find a note and a knife(they're in seperate cabinets). Click on the knife to get it, then read the note. Head straight to the basement.

5) Go into the room on your left. Read the sign, then click on the rope in the room. Leave the room. At the intersection, go into the room on the right. For fun, click on the two red books with yellow dots on them in the bookcase. Click on the rope on the right, then leave the room. Go back into the room on the left, and you'll see 3 red buttons where the squares were. Click on the left button, and leave the room. Go back into the bookcase room, and there will be three more buttons. Click on the middle one. Go back into the sign room, and where the brown coffin used to be, there will be a table with a lighter on it. Click on the lighter to obtain it. At the intersection, head straight. Click on the tombstone to read a creepy message (if you bothered to put in your name and birthdate correctly), and then click on the open grave. You'll see a skeletal hand poking out of the dirt. Click on it, then click on the yellow shiny object in its hand. You now have the tool shed key. Leave the basement.

6)From the first room(has the plank), head straight. The room will be dark, click on the lamp to light up the room. Head straight. Follow the path until you reach the tool shed. Enter.

7)The tool shed is completely dark, and an onscreen message reminds you. Click on the lighter to fix this problem. There is a book under a computer, read it. Afterwards, click on the red switch on the right. A green light comes on. Now, click on the computer. A fake version of windows(winblows) loads. Ignore the my documents, my pictures, and important crap folders(clicking on them just gives you an error message anyways)and click on the machine works program icon. It'll ask you for an access code, type in 5023. A ladder will drop down. Climb the ladder and click on the chest inside. Grab the bedroom key. Leave the tool shed.

8)Head back upstairs, and go left. Enter the master bedroom. Read the diary on the drawer, then click on the lightbulb to go to sleep. (NOTE: you can't go back after you go to sleep, so if you want to mess around more, don't go to sleep when prompted)

9) It's Freddy Time!! Watch the cheesy cutscene, and fight him. He is completely invulnerable to your gun(don't worry, you have infinite bullets). His glove is the only exception. He tries to rush at you and slash you, first from the left side and then on the right side. If he gets too close for comfort, shoot his glove. He will be knocked back, and appear from the opposite side. You can shoot his hand all day long, but it won't kill him. The trick to beating him lies in shooting a particular background object. Notice the pole with the pipe hanging off of it on the left side? When he appears on the left side, shoot the pipe. If you shoot too early or too late, the pipe will shake, but not fall. If you time it right, the pipe will fall on him, trapping his arm. You now have the option of using holy water or shooting him in the head. If you followed this walkthrough, you won't have the holy water, so shoot him in the head. This will give you the "crappy " ending. To get the good ending, you need to get the holy water.

10) I haven't figured out how to get the holy water yet, but I suspect it involves using the weed (and no, you can't light your joint with the lighter, I've tried many times to no avail). When I figure it out, i'll update it with how to get it. Hope this helps everyone!

"LOOK HERE FOR THE ANWSERS!!!"

1. Click left until you're facing the bed.
2. Click on the pillow and take the items.
3. Click between the bed and the drawer and take number.
4. Click left of the very bottom left inventory box in the game screen. You should switch the other side of the bed. Take the number.
5. Click back until you're facing the drawer.
6. Open the bottom drawer and take number and knife.
7. Click until you're facing the trash can.
8. Look down into the trash can and take numbers.
9. Click the "Click Here" box above your inventory until it says "Use Item".
10. Drag the knife and use it in the bottem of the trash can.
11. Take the number and key. Don't worry about the symbols.
12. Click until you're facing the curtain.
13. Click curtain and take the radio and number.
14. Go back to the drawer.
15. Make sure the box says "Use Item".
16. Use the key you just found on the drawer.
17. Take all the items inside.
18.Click at the bottem of the drawer until you look underneath.
19. Grab the remaining numbers.
20. Go to the chest now.
21. Change the box to "About Items".
22. Click on the radio.
23. Click the small grey button at the very bottem left of the radio. (Left of the 3 large ones).
24. The music should be off now and you can use the numbers.
25.Change the box to "Use Items".
26. Drag each following numbers to the empty boxes starting from the left: 3 9 0 5 1 .
27. Drag the key you got from the drawer onto the key hole.
28. Take the fake key.
29. Use the knife the same way you used it on the trash can on the bottem of the chest.
30. Take the axe.
31. Go to the door.
32. Use the axe on the door.
33. Watch the cheesy ending.
34. You've beat the game! Have a nice day.
